Onions, beans and peas.
Today is the day we plant our first seeds/bulbs – onions, beans and peas. We have scoured the catalogues looking for anything we can plant at this time of the year without a greenhouse.
Chickens
So some of the allotments have chickens. Elisha is determined that this is the direction our allotment should go. She has been having daily chats with the neighbours chickens and has fed them with chocolate biscuit crumbs and a snail.
We like the idea of chickens in principal but have been told they are a daily commitment and hard work. Not something in our already busy lives we want to sign up for.
